You can’t miss Chex at our barn! With his big, flowing mane and thoughtful way of moving through life, he’s one of the most recognizable members of our Bloom Strong family. He often walks with his head down, taking his time as if he has all the time in the world. He’s the picture of calm, until a horse friend walks by. Then, this quiet gentleman turns into the loudest neigh in the barn!

 

Chex can be a bit pushy and he loves to get close, but it’s just his way of asking for connection. He insists on having a horse friend nearby, and though he may be a little bossy, it's really his way of saying he never wants to be alone.

When you ride Chex, he teaches in his own special way. He moves slowly, patiently developing a rider's inner strength and confidence. Every lesson with him becomes an opportunity to grow stronger, more determined, and more sure of yourself.

 

Chex reminds us that even when things feel hard or slow, that's often when the most beautiful growth happens. We love him for being such a steady teacher and for making our riding program so special.
